About This Event
The “Paint N Sip Night Calgary – Canvas Painting Workshop” is an evening event designed to provide a relaxing and creative experience for attendees of all ages and skill levels. The event is hosted by Palak StudioInk, led by Palak Dhorajiya, an experienced painter and teacher who is passionate about creating imaginative art.
During the workshop, participants will be guided through the process of creating a masterpiece, with step-by-step instructions provided to ensure everyone can complete their painting from start to finish. The workshop includes all necessary art materials, and attendees are encouraged to arrive 5 minutes early to settle in before the painting begins.
The focus of the workshop will be on painting beautiful skies, with reference images provided. Participants will learn techniques for blending colors and achieving excellent outcomes. Attendees are advised to wear clothes that they don’t mind getting paint on.
The event also features an open bar, and drop-ins are welcome to pay at the cafe. Photography will be done at the event, and those who do not wish to be in pictures can inform the host.
Palak Dhorajiya, the artist leading the workshop, grew up in India and has always had a passion for art. She relocated to Calgary, Canada, to pursue a career in Interior design and rediscovered her passion for art during the pandemic, learning a new form of art called “Alcohol inks.” More information about Palak and her art classes can be found on her website, Palak StudioInk.
